Buy Nevolat Weight Loss Pens in Europe

Nevolat is an alternative weight loss treatment to Saxenda, both of which contain the active ingredient liraglutide. It is a once-daily weight loss injection that works by helping you feel full sooner and reducing your appetite for a longer period. To get the most out of this treatment, it is recommended that you use it in combination with a healthy diet and regular physical activity.

Am I eligible for Nevolat?

To be eligible for this treatment, you must have a BMI (body mass index) of 30 or above, or a BMI of 27 or above and one other weight-related health condition, such as:

If you’re unsure whether you’re eligible, you can use our BMI calculator to see if this is right for you.

How Nevolat works

Nevolat contains the active ingredient liraglutide, a member of the group of medicines known as GLP-1 receptor agonists. They mimic the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) hormone that the body naturally produces. This hormone is released from the intestine after a meal and acts on the receptors in the brain that control your appetite. It causes you to feel less hungry and fuller for longer, leading to reduced food consumption and a lower body weight.

Nevolat dosage and schedule

Usually, the amount of treatment that you inject will increase over time as you take this medication. Your prescriber will always advise you on how much you should be injecting in your consultation, you should always listen to this and never inject more than has been said to you. With this being said, a typical titration will look like this:

Week 1 0.6mg per day
Week 2 1.2mg per day
Week 3 1.8mg per day
Week 4 2.4mg per day
Week 5 3mg per day

How to take Nevolat weight loss injections

Always use Nevolat exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as instructed by your prescriber. Nevolat should be administered once daily, preferably at the same time each day.

Injecting your Nevolat pen

  • Start by thoroughly washing your hands with soap and water. Then, pull off the pen cap and check your pen. The solution must be clear and colourless. If it looks cloudy, do not use it. Check your pen for damage; do not use a damaged or expired pen.
  • You must check the flow before each injection. Holding the pen with the needle pointing up, turn the dose selector until the counter shows the flow check symbol past ‘0’.
  • Press and hold the dose button until the dose counter returns to ‘0’. The ‘0’ must line up with the dose pointer, and a drop of solution should appear at the needle tip. If no drop appears, recheck the flow. You can do this up to 6 times. If there is still no drop of solution, change the needle and check the flow again. If the drop of solution still doesn’t appear, dispose of the pen and use a new one.
  • Next, you must select your dose. Turn the dose selector until the dose counter shows your dose. If you choose the wrong dose, you can turn the dose selector forward or backwards to change it. Always check the dose before you inject yourself.
  • The pen scale will show you how much solution you have left in your pen. Turn the dose selector until the dose counter stops. For example, if your pen shows 3.0mg, there is enough left in your pen for a full 3.0mg dose. However, if the dose counter stops before 3.0mg, there won’t be enough left. You must contact your prescriber if you need more medicine than what is left in your pen.
  • Now, you need to insert the needle into your skin, ensuring you can see the dose counter. Do not cover it with your fingers, as this could interrupt your injection.
  • Press and hold the dose button until the dose counter shows ‘0’. The ‘0’ must line up with the dose pointer. You may then hear or feel a click. Keep the needle inside your skin and slowly count to 6. If you remove the needle earlier, you may see the solution coming from the needle, meaning you have not received the full dose.
  • You can now remove the needle from the skin. After this, release the dose button. If blood appears at the injection site, press lightly. After injecting, you may see a drop of solution at the tip of the needle. This is normal and does not affect your dose.

After injecting your Nevolat pen

Once you have finished your injection, you should use a flat surface to direct the needle tip to the outer needle cap.

Carefully push the outer cap entirely on when you have covered the needle.

Unscrew the needle and dispose of it carefully in a sharps container. Do not store your pen with the needle attached. Removing the needle prevents it from becoming blocked, leaking, or allowing air to enter the pen.

Finally, replace the pen cap. Do not store the pen without replacing the pen cap, as it will protect the solution from light.

Nevolat FAQs

Nevolat is a daily injectable liraglutide medication for chronic weight management. As a GLP-1 receptor agonist, it mimics the natural gut hormone GLP-1 — slowing stomach emptying, reducing appetite, and improving insulin response. Once injected daily, Nevolat helps you feel fuller for longer and reduces food cravings, supporting sustainable weight loss alongside diet and exercise.

Yes — Nevolat is MHRA-approved for long-term weight loss treatment in the United Kingdom, meeting the safety and efficacy standards of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. This MHRA approval is one reason Nevolat is particularly popular among UK patients seeking licensed liraglutide alternatives to Saxenda.

Nevolat is appropriate for adults with a BMI of 30 or above (clinical obesity), or a BMI of 27 or above with at least one weight-related condition such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnoea, dyslipidaemia, or cardiovascular disease. Final eligibility is confirmed by your reviewing doctor based on your complete medical history during the free online consultation.

Nevolat follows a standard liraglutide titration over 5 weeks: Week 1 = 0.6 mg daily, Week 2 = 1.2 mg, Week 3 = 1.8 mg, Week 4 = 2.4 mg, Week 5 onwards = 3.0 mg (maintenance). The gradual titration minimises gastrointestinal side effects. Your doctor may extend any step if side effects are bothersome.

Nevolat produces an average weight loss of 8–12% of starting body weight over 56 weeks at the 3.0 mg maintenance dose. Approximately one in three patients lose more than 10% of body weight. Individual results depend on starting weight, lifestyle changes, and biological response to liraglutide.

Nevolat comes as a pre-filled multi-dose pen. You inject under the skin (subcutaneously) once a day in your abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. The needle is very thin — most patients describe it as barely noticeable. Take Nevolat at the same time each day for the most consistent effect. Rotate injection sites to prevent skin irritation.

The most common side effects are gastrointestinal and typically mild: nausea (especially during the first 2–4 weeks), diarrhoea, constipation, headache, and reduced appetite. Most resolve as your body adjusts. Serious side effects (pancreatitis, gallbladder issues) are rare. Nevolat is contraindicated in patients with personal/family history of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) or MEN 2.

Nevolat and Saxenda both contain liraglutide and work identically — same mechanism, same dosing schedule, same expected results (8–12% weight loss over 56 weeks). The differences are: brand (Nevolat is a generic alternative), pricing (Nevolat is significantly more affordable, starting at €53.99 vs €375.00 for Saxenda), and packaging. Clinically there's no meaningful difference.

Focus on lean protein (~1.2–1.6 g per kg body weight daily), vegetables, whole grains, and adequate water (~2 L per day). Eat smaller, more frequent meals during the day. Avoid greasy, fried, or very rich foods — particularly during the first weeks and after each dose increase, as these worsen nausea. Limit alcohol during titration.

If you remember on the same day, take the missed dose. If you remember the next day, skip the missed dose and continue your normal schedule. Do NOT take a double dose to catch up. If you miss doses for 3 or more consecutive days, contact your doctor — you may need to restart titration from a lower dose to safely re-build tolerance.

Store unopened Nevolat pens in the refrigerator at 2–8 °C in original packaging. Do not freeze. After first use, pens can be kept at room temperature (below 30 °C) for up to 30 days. Discard after 30 days regardless. Check the solution before each injection — discard if cloudy or contains particles.

Nevolat is not recommended during pregnancy, while trying to conceive, or while breastfeeding. Stop Nevolat at least 1 month before planned conception. Slowed gastric emptying may affect absorption of oral hormonal contraceptives — discuss backup contraception (such as barrier methods) with your doctor during titration and after dose increases.

Without continued treatment, most patients regain a significant portion of lost weight within 12 months. Your doctor will discuss options: long-term continuation, gradual reduction, or switching to a weekly GLP-1 like Wegovy. Lifestyle changes (diet, exercise) made during treatment are valuable for maintaining results after stopping.

Nevolat is a generic-equivalent liraglutide alternative, priced significantly lower than Saxenda which is the original branded version manufactured by Novo Nordisk. Generic medications meet the same regulatory and quality standards but cost less because the manufacturer doesn't carry the original development costs. Same active ingredient, same effectiveness, lower price.

Yes — EU Slim Store ships Nevolat to the Netherlands (2–3 days), Belgium (2–4 days), UK (1–2 days, MHRA-approved), Germany (3–5 days), France (3–5 days), Poland (4–5 days), Norway (4–6 days), and other EU/EEA countries. All shipments are in temperature-controlled, discreet packaging from our EU-regulated pharmacy.
